We are a grassroots civil society organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights of disenfranchised Afghan women and girls in Afghanistan and to support them for a healthy life.

Job Description:
We are looking for two Mahram couples experienced Social Mobilizers to join our team. The role is essential in building strong relationships with local communities, raising awareness about PSS initiatives, and mobilizing women to actively participate in programs that promote empowerment and social change. Both couples’ male and female Social Mobilizers will work directly with communities to identify needs, increase program participation, and help improve the lives of women and children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community mobilizers will support the families with organizing family contacts.
- Community Mobilizers will go to the communities and mobilize the people to go to our Health Facility for acquiring required services.
- Community Mobilizers will organize the clients in waiting room of health facility (clinic) and carry out triage of patients during morning time.
- Mobilizer actively participate in health education on mental health daily in the waiting room for clients.
- Community Mobilizers disseminate Mental Health Posters, leaflets, and banners in target locations.
- Community Mobilizes provide awareness among the communities based on the set schedule, 2 times per week.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local leaders, community members, and stakeholders.
- Conduct outreach activities, meetings, and workshops to promote social and behavioral change.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the effective implementation of projects.
- Assist in the development of community-based awareness campaigns and events.
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Community Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social mobilization or community engagement, preferably in a non-profit NGO setting and BPHS.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse community groups.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in organizing and conducting community meetings, workshops, and events.
- Knowledge of local customs, cultures, and community dynamics.
- Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto; English is a plus.
