جمعیت هلال احمر افغانستان که در سال 1934 تأسیس شد، یک نهاد مستقل و بشردوستانه است که توسط دولت افغانستان به عنوان یک نهادخیریه و بیطرف برای ادارات دولتی به رسمیت شناخته شده است. جمعیت هلال احمر افغانی سره میاشت نقش مهمی در ارائه خدمات رضاکارانه و کمک های بشری ایفاء میکند. بر اساس قانون و اساس نامه جمعیت ملی فعالیت های خویش  را مطابق با اصول هفت گانه خویش  بشردوستی، بی طرفی، استقلالیت، خدمات رضاکارانه، وحدت و جهان شمولیت غیر جانبداری انجام می دهد. از جمله، جمعیت ملی وظیفه دارد به جوامع آسیب دیده کمک کند، سرپناه اضطراری تهیه کند و اقلام امدادی را بین افراد آسیب پذیر توزیع کند. جمعیت هلال احمر از طریق شبکه ای متشکل از 7 زون ساحوی و 34 نمایندگی در ولایات میباشدکه بیش از 20000 کارمند و رضاکار آموزش دیده،با همکاری سازمان های ملی و بین المللی با در سطح کشور برای کاهش الارم بشری در طول دهه‌های گذشته، جمعیت هلال احمر افغانی سره میاشت موفق شده است که بی‌طرفی خویش را حفظ کند و از پذیرشی برخوردار است که تیم‌هایش را قادر می‌سازد تا اقدامات بشردوستانه اصولی را در سراسر خطوط درگیری، از جمله در بخش‌های بزرگی از مناطق تحت کنترل گروه‌های مخالف مسلح، انجام دهند. با حمایت شرکای خود مانند اداره محترم - فدراسیون بین المللی صلیب سرخ (IFRC)، کمیته بین المللی صلیب سرخ (ICRC)  و دیگر شرکای خویش تقویت میگردد

Main Responsibilities:

1.       Plan, organize, and facilitate structured and unstructured psychosocial, recreational, social, educational, sports, arts, crafts, and occupational activities for patients.

2.     Organise group activities adapted for persons with different skills and abilities that promote social interaction, teamwork, communication, confidence, and meaningful engagement.

3.       Support patient active participation in daily activities and report any visible behavioral changes to the clinical team.

4.       Support awareness and well-being activities designed by the MHPSS team to promote healthy coping, self-care, and social inclusion.

5.       Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules aligned with recovery objectives.

6.       Monitor attendance, participation, and engagement in activities and report any significant behavioral, emotional, or protection concerns to the counsellor or clinical team.

7.       Identify individuals who may require specialized mental health, psychosocial, protection, or other services and refer them according to established procedures. Follow-up on referred cases.

8.     Maintain activity records, attendance lists, and routine reports on implemented activities.

9.       Ensure all activities are implemented in line with principles of dignity, safety, inclusion, protection, and gender sensitivity.

10.   Coordinate closely with the counsellor, MHPSS Technical Supervisor, and other rehabilitation staff to ensure integrated service delivery.

11.   Participate in trainings, supervision sessions, and capacity-building activities as required.

12.   Do any other assigned duties related to the provision and coordination of MHPSS services from the direct supervisor and line manager.

Education:

·         Minimum Batchler degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social worker, Occupational Therapy, Education, Rehabilitation Science or other relative field.

·         Relevant MHPSS or trainings on working with people with disabilities is an asset.

Experience

·         Minimum 1-3 years of experience in psychosocial support, rehabilitation, disability services, community-based programs, mental health settings, youth programs, or humanitarian work.

·         Experience facilitating group activities, recreational programs, arts and crafts, vocational activities, or community engagement initiatives.

·         Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health conditions is an asset.

Skills and competences

·         Strong facilitation and group management skills.

·         Practical skills in arts, crafts, painting, embroidery, calligraphy, music, sports, gardening, or other recreational activities.

·         Ability to work respectfully with people with different types of disabilities and experiencing mental health conditions.

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·         Patience, empathy, and a supportive attitude.

·         Ability to observe and appropriately report concerns to the clinical team.

·         Fluency in both local languages; knowledge of English is an asset.
