About BARAN
Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.
Job Description
• Assist in normal deliveries and support complicated cases under supervision
• Provide antenatal (ANC) and postnatal care (PNC) services
• Monitor labor, vital signs, and postpartum mothers
• Support immediate newborn care and resuscitation if needed
• Help manage obstetric and newborn emergencies under guidance
• Maintain infection prevention and control (IPC) standards
• Record and report patient care, deliveries, and complications
• Ensure proper handover to regular midwife or next shift staff
• Support facility staff in health education and counseling of mothers
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor in Midwifery
- Valid MoPH registration/license
- 1–2 years clinical experience preferred
- Knowledge of normal delivery and newborn care
- Basic skills in managing obstetric emergencies
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work under supervision and follow protocols
