Transport Officer

Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs

• Assist in the compilation of weekly transport statistics.
• Registration of vehicles and obtaining plate number etc.
• Control over vehicle logbooks on weekly and monthly basis.
• Fuel arrangement for vehicles, record keeping and monitoring of fuel consumption and reporting to Admin and Logistics Manager accordingly.
• Preparing monthly fuel consumption report.
• Supervision and tasking of drivers.
• Issuing of permit for office drivers going on duty with office personnel.
• Ensure that all the vehicles are in good working condition.
• Identifying needs for drivers and vehicles.
• Preparing a work roster for drivers for their weekly and monthly activities.
• Keeping record of vehicles maintenance and parts procured.
• Monitoring and maintaining of technical condition of the vehicles through inspection in person and by the mechanic.
• Assisting in internal and external investigation procedures in the event of a vehicle accident etc.
• EPI Outreach Bike records and monitoring their data base.
• Outreach Bike hand over documentation.
• Ambulance, Generators, Outreach bike log Books controlling and providing the same to Logistic department for fuel, gas payment process.
• Take all drivers phone queries, and logging all calls

    •    Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
    •    2–4 years of experience in transport or fleet management
    •    Knowledge of fleet management systems and vehicle maintenance
    •    Familiarity with transport safety standards and regulations
    •    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
