ATOA designs, develops, and implements programs centered on these six core areas, while also addressing three key issues that are integrated into our core programs.

Job Descriptions:

Job Purpose:

Supervise and support vaccinators and cold chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct field supervision of vaccinators.
  2. Monitor temperature logbooks.
  3. Verify vaccine stock levels.
  4. Support outreach immunization activities.
  5. Monitor defaulter tracing.
  6. Ensure safe injection practices.
  7. Review EPI registers.
  8. Report coverage data.
  9. Follow up on cold chain breakdowns.
  10. Submit supervision reports.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Health diploma/degree.
  • 3+ years of EPI experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills.
  • Proficient computing skills – word processing, spreadsheet design, and presentations.
  • Other skills required:

  • Efficient, result-oriented, and excellent management capabilities.
  • Ability to identify project weaknesses and gaps and to take corrective action.
  • Ability in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent HMIS and M&E skills
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle.
  • confidential and politically sensitive issues responsibly and maturely.
  • Excellent capacity development and teamwork skills; cross-cultural and gender sensitivity.
  • Ability to travel throughout the country.
  • Respect the confidentiality of the organization.
