The Data Clerk is responsible for collecting, entering, verifying, and managing health-related data at the facility level. This role supports the MEAL department by ensuring timely and accurate data reporting, contributing to program monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes.
Data Collection & Entry
• Collect patient and service delivery data from registers and forms.
• Enter data into databases
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of data before submission.
Data Verification & Quality Assurance
• Conduct routine checks to verify data accuracy and consistency.
• Flag and correct data discrepancies in collaboration with health staff and MEAL team.
• Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards.
Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare weekly and monthly data reports for the MEAL department.
• Support the compilation of Master list, summary tracking sheets and HERP Database.
• Maintain organized filing systems for both hard and soft copies of data.
Coordination & Support
• Liaise with health facility staff to ensure timely data availability.
• Participate in MEAL-related trainings and capacity-building sessions.
• Support MEAL team during assessments, surveys, and evaluations.

Educatoin: At least 2 year of experience in data entry
Experience working in a Data Entry role in Health Projects
• Knowledge of MEAL principles and practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Familiarity with health data tools and platforms (e.g., DHIS2, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
