About New Consultancy and Relief Organization:

The New Consultancy and Relief Organization (NCRO) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1993 and dedicated to serving vulnerable communities across Afghanistan. With over three decades of experience, NCRO has been actively engaged in delivering humanitarian aid, implementing livelihood and development projects, and supporting disaster-affected and food-insecure populations. As a local NGO, NCRO works closely with communities, local authorities, and international partners to promote resilience, self-reliance, and sustainable development through inclusive and needs-based programming.

Job Descriptions:

NCRO is seeking a qualified and motivated Livestock Officer to lead the distribution and management of Livestock Protection Kits, Dairy Kits, Poultry Packages, and Backyard Beekeeping Packages. The officer will also be responsible for planning and conducting training sessions and capacity-building activities on livestock management for project beneficiaries. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in livestock programming and community engagement.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Livestock Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in agriculture and livestock value chain development.

- Knowledge of climate-smart agricultural practices and market linkages.

- Experience in conflict sensitivity and community engagement.

- Ability to facilitate training for farmers and producers.

- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
