Job Descriptions:

About the Role:

Under the direct supervision of the Qualitative Research Associate, the incumbent will support qualitative research by enabling smooth, safe, well-documented KIIs/FGDs through high-quality note-taking, consent management, logistics support, and secure handling of qualitative records under ethical and safeguarding procedures.

 

Specific Duties:

  • Participate in training on qualitative tools, research ethics, safeguarding, and data protection.
  • Take structured notes/minutes during KIIs/FGDs; produce same-day cleaned write-ups and maintain field logs/debrief summaries.
  • Administer/record informed consent per approved protocol; ensure safe/private settings and flag risks immediately.
  • Apply anonymization rules and follow secure data practices for file labeling, transfer, and storage.
  • Traveling to targeted areas/ provinces 

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

Experience: Minimum 2 years supporting field research / KIIs / FGDs / documentation

Education: Minimum high school completion (Bachelor’s preferred in Social Sciences/Education/Development/Economics/Public Policy or related)

Other Skills:

  • Excellent listening/note-taking; strong interpersonal skills; confidentiality and professionalism; ability to travel and work flexible hours.
  • Be able to travel to provinces/ targed areas
