OCCD works in partnership with Government, development and implementing partners in Health, Education, Agriculture and Livestock, Research and Development

 

Job Descriptions:

  • Prepare and update the HMIS work plan for all health facilities.
  • Supervise and train health facility staff on the HMIS system and reporting requirements.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze HMIS data; ensure timely submission of monthly HMIS reports and accurate data entry into DHIS2.
  • Monitor, verify, and analyze data submitted by health facility staff to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and HMIS‑related discussions at provincial and project levels.
  • Supervise OPD reporting processes and provide on‑the‑job HMIS training to all technical staff.
  • Support responsible staff in maintaining accurate and organized medical records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and end‑of‑grant HMIS reports.
  • Liaise regularly with the PPHD HMIS department and relevant MoPH HMIS units.
  • Assist in conducting client and patient satisfaction surveys.
  • Present HMIS performance and activities at project and health facility levels using bar charts, line charts, and other visual tools (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
  • Develop HMIS monitoring tools for health facilities and provide constructive feedback based on findings.
  • Analyze monthly reports from health facilities and provide timely feedback for improvement.
  • Conduct on‑the‑job HMIS training for BPHS staff as needed.
  • Organize monthly HMIS review meetings with health facility staff.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
  • Prepare monthly monitoring work plans for health facilities.
  • Monitor the progress of each health facility in terms of HMIS reporting and data quality.
 

Job Requirements:

  1. MD degree from a recognized university.
  2. Minimum of three years of experience working with HMIS programs and BPHS implementation.
  3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  4. Computer literacy, particularly in database management and data entry systems.
  5. Proficiency in Pashto, Dari, and English, both written and spoken.
  6. Advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet development, and presentation preparation.
  7. Who has the ability in data management provide support on technical and management issues.
