Women Activities & Social Service Association (WASSA) was established in 2002 in Afghanistan as a non-governmental organization, committed to seeking ways for women's empowerment in Afghanistan. WASSA aims to promote women's equal participation in socio-economic sectors of the country. WASSA works directly with communities to bring change in the social attitude of the community regarding women.

Under the overall supervision of the Head of clinic, the midwife will work on the following tasks to coordinate the implementation of the project.
تحت نظارت آمر کلینیک، قابله بر روی وظایف زیر کار خواهد کرد تا اجرای پروژه را هماهنگ کند:

• Patient registration (Registers, Tally sheets, visit cards and follow up registration book)
  ثبت نام مریض (ثبت‌ها، برگه‌های ثبت، کارت‌های ملاقات و کتابچه/کتاب ثبت پیگیری)
• Patient examination (BP, vital signs, abdominal examination, weight, MUAC and …)
  معاینه مریض (فشار خون، علائم حیاتی، معاینه بطن، وزن، و غیره MUAC و ...)
• Monitoring the health of pregnant women and their unborn babies.
  نظارت بر سلامت زنان حامله و طفل داخل رحم
• Educating patients as well as their partners and family members on reproductive health, preparation for parenthood, and antenatal care.
  آموزش مریضان و همچنین همسر و اعضای خانواده آنها در زمینه سلامت ولادت، آمادگی برای والدین شدن و مراقبت‌های پیش از ولادت.
• Teaching patients with pain management techniques to prepare them for labor.
  آموزش مریضان با نحوه برخورد با درد برای آماده‌سازی آنها برای ولادت
• Delivering patients’ babies in birthing centers, or hospitals as well as providing emotional support and encouragement during labor.
  زایمان نوزادان مریضان در مراکز  صحی/زایشگاه، شفاخانه و همچنین ارائه حمایت عاطفی و تشویق در حین ولادت.
• Resuscitation/recovery of newborn if needed and clamp and cut cord
  احیا/بهبود نوزاد در صورت لزوم و بستن و بریدن بند ناف
• Taking and recording patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse as well as ordering diagnostic tests as needed.
  اندازه‌گیری و ثبت فشار خون، درجه حرارت بدن و ضربان قلب مریضان و همچنین درخواست آزمایش‌های تشخیصی در صورت نیاز.
• Helping patients and their partners to cope with miscarriages, stillbirths, neonatal deaths, and terminations.
  کمک به مریضان و همسر آنها برای مقابله و جلوگیری از سقط جنین، مرگ جنین، مرگ نوزادان و ولادت.
• Breastfeeding of newborn at the first hours
  آموزش و نظارت شیردهی به نوزاد در ساعات اولیه
• Emotional support for mother and family
  حمایت عاطفی از مادر و خانواده
• Referring the newborn internally or externally if needed (internally: Vaccine, OPD and … and externally: to CHC, hospitals and …)
  ارجاع نوزاد به صورت داخلی یا مراجع دیگر در صورت نیاز (داخلی: واکیسن،خدمات سرپایی و … و خارجی: به CHC، شفاخانه ها و …)
• Prescription of Folic Acid or fefol tablets
  نسخه برای اسید فولیک یا قرص ففول
• Teaching new mothers how to feed their newborns.
  آموزش مادران جدید در مورد نحوه شیردهی و تغذیه نوزادانشان.
• Assisting patients in creating suitable birth plans.
  کمک به مریضان برای ایجاد برنامه ولادت مناسب.
• Providing sound advice to patients regarding diets, exercises, and medications suitable for pregnancy.
  ارائه مشاوره‌های صحیح به مریضان در خصوص رژیم غذایی، تمرینات و داروهای مناسب در زمان حاملگی.
• Follow up of patients or pregnant women for visits.
  پیگیری مریضان یا زنان حامله برای ملاقات‌ها.
• Prepare reports of activities and share with head of clinic
  تهیه گزارش فعالیت‌ها و به اشتراک گذاری آن با امر کلینیک/داکتر

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in nursing/midwifery or related field.
  داشتن مدرک در رشته های قابله گی یا نرسنگ عالی
• Appropriate state licensure.
  سند معتبر دولتی.
• Proven experience working as a midwife.
  تجربه اثبات شده در کار به عنوان قابله .
• Basic Life Support (BSL)

• The ability to work under pressure in different districts
  توانایی کار تحت فشار در مناطق مختلف
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and clinical assessment skills.
