About Afghans Humanitarian Aids & Development Organization (AHADO):

Afghans Humanitarian Aid and Development Organization (AHADO) is a non-government, non-profit humanitarian social welfare organization. AHADO established in October 2013 and registered with Ministry of Economy (MoEc), through license Number 3053. AHADO based in Kandahar and delivered humanitarian and development projects in various regions of the country including southern, central and northern regions. Implemented projects were in various sectors of child protection, community education, gender equity, WASH, health/hygiene, capacity building, livelihood and advocacy. AHADO is committed to the humanitarian principals and is PSEA Signatory; therefore AHADO would strictly follow all its provisions in its daily operation and apply the considered measurement on the perpetrators.

Earlier issuing any contract all candidates must complete the SEA Reference check that include the completion of following steps:

Reference Check for new candidates/employees

The candidates should submit two to three references from his/she former employers and complete the reference check forms Annex 1 to introduce his/her current and former employers for reference check to confirm that the candidate did not commit any ESA and Harassment.

B-Candidates with any committed SEA and harassment back-ground should not be hired.

C- To ensure that the candidate is honest and did not commit any SEA and harassment, AHADO would share the Annex 2, (candidates Reference check table) to be completed by  the candidates references, and based on the provided information, honest candidates who did not commit  any SEA and harassment , should be considered for hiring.  The annexes 1 and 2 would be shared with the final candidates.

Job Descriptions:

It’s a fulltime job and the position holder would work six days/week. The Project Admin/Finance Officer is responsible for the sound planning; coordination and implementation of project admin and finance affairs in his/her respective province level. Project admin/finance officer is responsible for timely provision of admin and finance facilities and support including office infrastructure and utilities for day to day management of the project affairs, organizing of the proper, suitable and safe venues for conduction of the capacity building activities, transportation of the Teaching and Learning Material from the center of province to each 150 TLSs, preparation of project staff attendance sheets and payments of their salaries, in consultation with UNICEF transfer  teachers’ salaries through digital online systems. He/She would report to the EiE-TLS Project Provincial Coordinator and would work closely and manage the activities of the project support staff e.g. guards, drivers, cook and etc.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Actively participate in the trainings, project orientation sessions and other capacity building activities organized by AHADO and UNICEF.
  • Establishment of project provincial offices and provision of all required infrastructures essential for day to day’s activities of the projects
  • Establish warehouse for proper storing of the TLMs and project other equipment’s.
  • Plan and manage the safe transportation of TLMs and project other supplies to the field and TLSs.
  • Develop and regularly update project inventory list.
  • Organize proper and safe venues for the conduction of capacity building trainings for the project staff, teachers and SMSs.
  •  Provision of the projectors, stationery and refreshment for the trainings, capacity building and awareness sessions.
  • Prepare staff payrolls and delivery of their monthly salaries.
  • In coordination with the provincial education officer and social mobilizers prepare the TLS teachers payrolls.
  • In consultation with the project manager and UNICEF transparent delivery of teachers salary through available and approved digital systems.
  • Manage and lead the daily activities of the project supporting staff.   
  • Perform any other admin and finance tasks requested by the project manager and project provincial coordinator.

 

Monitoring:

  • Monitoring the proper transportation of TLMs and project inventories to the project offices and TLSs
  • Monitor and supervise the performance of the project supporting staff.

 

 

  Reporting: 

  • Preparation of the project admin and finance weekly, monthly, quarterly reports along with the required supporting documents.
  • Prepare any had-hock report asked by the Project Provincial Coordinator, Education Officer, AHADO Management and UNICEF.

Job Requirements:

  • The applicant must have Bachelor Degree from the Faculty of Economics or other related field and Master is preferred.
  • 3 year proven experiences in financial affairs management
  • Proven experiences in administrative activities.
  • Familiar with the EiE and humanitarian services principles.
  • Proven work experiences in finance departments of NGOs and UN agencies, is a plus.
  • Able to travel to Helmand, Nimroz and Zabul Provinces districts.
  •  Sign and agree on the Children Safeguarding and PSEA policies
