Female Nurse

The Liberty, Equality, Fraternity Afghanistan Organization (LEFAO) is a national NGO working in the fields of education, health, child protection, women empowerment and social services. The organization serves the vulnerable population through education and vocational training in different parts of the country with the support of internal and external donors. The aim of the organizational services is to enhance the local capacity of the vulnerable population to stand on their own foot in the future and solve their problems.  LEFAO is currently running an emergency medical assistance project for the earthquake victims in Kunar province.

• The overall management and application of the required medication for the patients.
• The control and use of medication in consultation with the doctor.
• Receiving OPD and IPD patients and properly registering them.
• Ensure timely application and delivery of medicines to the patients.
• To be able to help the doctors in treating the injured female patients..
• Assist the doctors to protect and treat the wounded patients from bleeding, gangrene development and psychological problems.
• Assist in prevention of post earthquake diarrheal and skin disease in patients.
• Regular duty on patients.
• Taking care of medicine and medicine registry.
• Application of blood transfusion, medical fluids and injections as required by the patients.
• Preparation and follow up plan for the patients in consultation with the doctor.

• Nursing degree from a well known university
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in a well known hospital .
• Excellent Pashto speaking skills
• Computer skills.
• Good organizational and reporting skill.
• Ability to work under pressure in a field medical camp.
