Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to the Finance Department.
• Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure accurate, transparent, and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Manage cash flow, investments, and risk management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Afghan taxation laws, financial regulations, and international accounting standards.
• Supervise and build the capacity of finance teams in Balkh office.
• Provide financial analysis to support executive decision-making and business growth.
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring accountability and compliance.
• Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board of Directors.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (MBA/Finance preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of progressive work experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior management role (preferably with large companies, INGOs, or corporate institutions).
• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced knowledge of financial software (QuickBooks, ERP, or similar systems).
• Excellent analytical, budgeting, and forecasting abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in Pashto, Dari, and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex financial operations.
