Just for Afghan Capacity and Knowledge (JACK) is an independent, non-governmental, non-Profit, non-Political and non-Sectarian Organization working in Afghanistan since 2001 in the areas of health, nutrition, education, development and emergency with an aim at improving livelihoods and alleviating poverty. And JACK had the experiences of working in various provinces and zones of Afghanistan.

JACK registered under the Ministry of Economy with registration number, 316. The organization works in Collaboration with other line Ministries, NGOs, INGOs, and donor communities.

The mandate of JACK is to improve lives of the people we touch through our programs. We strive to have a community that is empowered, participates in its development and is able to use the resources available to them to get what they want.  We work to assist communities in their efforts that lead them to self- help and in essence self- reliance that comes with economic and social independence.

• Responsible for overall activities of MCH.
•  Following up the pregnant women in during period of pregnancy, after pregnancy and family planning.
•  Filling out the registration book, standard tally sheet of the daily and monthly activities report.
•  Giving the consultation to the health team nurses and other staff on particular health issues.
•  Prescribing the preventive according standard guidelines and policy.
•  Working with health team nurses in crucial condition or emergency conditions and provinding the nesary help.
•  Measuring of children under five years old for screening of to find out the malnutrition situation.
•  Conducting of health education according proper plan for the clients.
•  To assist and follow up the CHWs activities in the community.
•  Strengthen the referral system 
•  Consulting to the pregnant women regarding ANCs, PNCs and family planning according MoPH, MCH guideline.
•  On the time conducting vaccination to the patients.
•  Preparing monthly activities report to the related field supervisor in approved reporting formats
•  Be flexible during the job period ,sometime due to need for replacer to other health team or health facility the midwife has to be agreed.

• The candidate must be graduted from a recognized midwifery institute.
• The candidate should have 03 years’ experience in similar health projects with international or national NGOs.
• Familiarity with HMIS tools of MoH.
• Good knowledge and experience midwifery activities.
• Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle confidential and politically sensitive issues in a responsible and mature manner.
• The candidate should travel to districts of the target province.
• Dari, Pashto and English skills are required.
