Just for Afghan Capacity and Knowledge (JACK) is an independent, non-governmental, non-Profit, non-Political and non-Sectarian Organization working in Afghanistan since 2001 in the areas of health, nutrition, education, development and emergency with an aim at improving livelihoods and alleviating poverty. And JACK had the experiences of working in various provinces and zones of Afghanistan.

JACK registered under the Ministry of Economy with registration number, 316. The organization works in Collaboration with other line Ministries, NGOs, INGOs, and donor communities.

The mandate of JACK is to improve lives of the people we touch through our programs. We strive to have a community that is empowered, participates in its development and is able to use the resources available to them to get what they want.  We work to assist communities in their efforts that lead them to self- help and in essence self- reliance that comes with economic and social independence.

• Responsible for related activities of nutrition.
• Diagnosis, treatment of the patients according the provided guidelines.
• Provide rapid assessment and treatment to patients in the initial phase of illness or trauma and often in life-threatening situations.
• Reporting to the responsible person according the provided format on monthly basis.
• Control the dispensary and updating of stock cards.
• Strengthening referral system, the patients who are unable to cover on mobile health level according proper provided guideline has to refer to the nearest health facility.
• Conducting of on the job training to the client in a group and individual.
• Flexible in performance of activities, in time of requirement to assist the midwife, nutrition officer and other mobile health team staff.
• Time management is crucial in this job. Along with triage, nurse must quickly ascertain the following information from incoming patients:
  • Identify the medical problem
  • Document medical history
  • Check for any allergies and current medications
  • Obtain height, weight, body temperature, heart rate and blood pressure
• The most important responsibility is understanding triage, which is a method of prioritizing injuries based on medical need. A nurse must have the ability to make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
• All the beneficiaries and patients who receives the services has to register in a provided and proper registration book.

• The candidates must have related gradute degree.
• Graduated from a known health institute.
• Minimum Three years of working experience in MHNTs, trauma center or health facility.
• Good communication skills are required.
• Able to read ,write and speak English, Pashto and Dari language
• Computer skils at least Ms -office
