Job Descriptions:

                                                              MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Work with FPC project focal point and QIOs officers to implement project activities in target health facilities and community level.
  • Collaborate with FPC focal point and QIOs to initiate in planning and implementation of project activities including field visits by TSTs
  •  Support HER project CBHC team in implementation of CBHC program activities at the community level
  • Establish close ties with and mentor Community Health Supervisors, CHWs, and local communities in particular key influential community members (e.g. members of Community Health Shura) with a focus on respectful maternity care and gender-sensitive care for the related CBHC activities.
  • Introduce the Community Health Accountability Monitoring (CHAMT) Tool at the provincial and community level.
  • Provide Technical support to shura i sehi to conduct monitoring visits at the HP and HF buy using the Community Health Accountability Monitoring Tool (CHAMT).
  • Entry the data of CHAMT into the database system.
  • Conduct coordination and advocacy meetings to introduce and orient the CD+ at provincial, District, Health Facility, and Community levels regarding Community Dialog Plus (CD+) implementation.
  • Conduct bassline assessment to identify the low-performance health facility and community for CD+ Activity.
  • Provide technical support to health facilities and the communities to develop a work plan regarding CD+ activity and Conduct monthly monitoring and supervision of the action plan to identify the strengthening and weak points of the activity and to solve and to introduce the community as a healthy or champion community.
  • Provide community-level support to the TSTs for further engagement of the community and Lead initiation of dialogue with local communities regarding TSTs: Provide support and guidance to local communities including an orientation on the TSTs, their role, scope and ensure their representation in the composition of TSTs.
  • Work with local communities to improve their participation in TSTs and other provincial-level platforms.
  • Support local communities, the health Shura representative in their role while serving as TST member.
  • Work with local communities to prepare them for the rapid assessment and follow-up TST visits at the community/HPs level.
  • Coordinate TSTs-related activities with local communities including their visits to HFs.
  • Provide support in the field arrangements for the surveys during activities.
  • Follow up referral transportation system from community to HFs
  • Any other relevant activities deemed needed by FPC project

 

COMPETENCIES:

                                                           

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in local languages
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills: demonstrated ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse staff.
  •   Experience in training and supervision of BPHS components
