About Enabled Children Initiative:
The Enabled Children Initiative (ECI) is an independent non-profit organization registered in the United States as a 501(c)(3), with a branch office in Afghanistan (registration number 465), that supports children with disabilities in Afghanistan. For more information on ECI and our programs, visit www.enabledchildren.org
About the Need:
Over the past two years, ECI has grown from a small, volunteer-led organization with a few employees and a couple of programs, to a medium-sized organization with a team of over 50 Afghan employees running 6 programs across 6 provinces of Afghanistan. ECI’s growth strategy has included investing in a strong Afghan leadership team who can navigate the organization through the uncertain environment while also growing the organization. As part of this growth strategy, ECI is fleshing out its senior management cadre. A key member is the Finance Manager who will manage our small but growing Finance department and help build out and give strategic vision to the growth and eventual bifurcation of the departments.
