Business Development coordinator (Call for CVs)

Vision Development Organization (VDO), founded in 2015 by Afghan women leaders, is a national, women-led NGO dedicated to advancing the dignity, resilience, and leadership of women, youth, and marginalized communities. Despite Afghanistan’s complex humanitarian and governance challenges, VDO has grown into a trusted, principled, and adaptive organization, delivering programs in protection, education, livelihoods, social inclusion, and community development across multiple provinces. Anchored in integrity, accountability, and operational excellence, VDO upholds strong governance, safeguarding, and compliance standards while championing women’s leadership and equitable, high-quality service delivery.

• The Business Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), startups, and partner companies through tailored business development, mentoring, and capacity-strengthening services. 
• The position will provide technical guidance on business planning, business model development, market analysis, financial planning, operational management, and growth strategies to enhance business performance and sustainability.
• The Coordinator will support businesses in developing bankable business plans, investment proposals, marketing strategies, and operational improvement plans while facilitating access to markets, networking opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
• The role will also lead visibility and branding initiatives by supporting companies in developing corporate profiles, promotional materials, digital presence, communication strategies, and brand positioning.
• Additionally, the Coordinator will provide ongoing operational mentorship on organizational management, governance, customer service, compliance, resource mobilization, and business expansion, ensuring that supported enterprises strengthen their competitiveness, resilience, employment generation capacity, and long-term sustainability. 
• The position will work closely with businesses, private sector stakeholders, chambers of commerce, financial institutions, and relevant partners to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic growth.

• Bachelor in business administration or similiar.
• Minimum 7–10 years of senior-level education programming experience.
• Strong understanding of EiE, child protection, and education systems.
• Experience managing donor-funded education projects and multi-provincial teams.
• Excellent leadership and reporting skills.
• English excellent, Dari and Pashtu fluent

Vision Development Organization (VDO) is accepting CVs and applications from qualified candidates from 13 June 2026 to 27 June 2026 to establish a candidate roster (database) for future employment opportunities.
