Surveyor (Call for CVs)

Vision Development Organization (VDO), founded in 2015 by Afghan women leaders, is a national, women-led NGO dedicated to advancing the dignity, resilience, and leadership of women, youth, and marginalized communities. Despite Afghanistan’s complex humanitarian and governance challenges, VDO has grown into a trusted, principled, and adaptive organization, delivering programs in protection, education, livelihoods, social inclusion, and community development across multiple provinces. Anchored in integrity, accountability, and operational excellence, VDO upholds strong governance, safeguarding, and compliance standards while championing women’s leadership and equitable, high-quality service delivery.

• Conduct household surveys, needs assessments, beneficiary verification, monitoring visits, and data collection activities for emergency response programs.
• Use digital or paper-based tools to collect accurate information.
• Support vulnerability assessments, post-distribution monitoring, and rapid needs assessments.
• Ensure ethical data collection, confidentiality, and accountability standards are maintained.
• Submit completed surveys and field reports on time.

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of survey or data collection experience.
• Familiarity with mobile data collection tools preferred.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Local language fluent – English preferred

Vision Development Organization (VDO) is accepting CVs and applications from qualified candidates from 13 June 2026 to 27 June 2026 to establish a candidate roster (database) for future employment opportunities. Eligible applicants with relevant qualifications and work experience are encouraged to apply through the Google Form available below on the website. Shortlisted candidates will be included in the roster and considered for vacancies based on project needs. The opportunity is open to both women and men, and Mahram expenses for female staff will be supported where applicable.
