Project Coordinator (Emergency Response) (Call for CVs)

Vision Development Organization (VDO), founded in 2015 by Afghan women leaders, is a national, women-led NGO dedicated to advancing the dignity, resilience, and leadership of women, youth, and marginalized communities. Despite Afghanistan’s complex humanitarian and governance challenges, VDO has grown into a trusted, principled, and adaptive organization, delivering programs in protection, education, livelihoods, social inclusion, and community development across multiple provinces. Anchored in integrity, accountability, and operational excellence, VDO upholds strong governance, safeguarding, and compliance standards while championing women’s leadership and equitable, high-quality service delivery.

• Coordinate day-to-day implementation of emergency response activities at provincial and district levels.
• Support implementation of food distributions, cash assistance, beneficiary registration, assessments, and emergency response operations.
• Coordinate field schedules, logistics arrangements, beneficiary tracking, reporting systems, and stakeholder communication.
• Conduct field visits and monitor implementation quality and compliance.
• Ensure safeguarding, accountability, gender sensitivity, and protection measures are integrated into all activities.
• Support operational coordination with finance, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and MEAL teams.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Management, Humanitarian Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of emergency response coordination experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in humanitarian field operations preferred.
