Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle all taxation matters, including filing tax returns and ensuring compliance with the Ministry of Finance
- Maintain proper records of invoices, payments, and expenditures
- Monitor cash flow and company budgets
- Prepare payroll and ensure timely salary payments
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities
- Ensure compliance with donor financial policies and procedures
- Support procurement and contract financial reviews
- Maintain financial documentation for audits and inspections
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration related field but preference will be given to exprience in (Taxation)
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Afghanistan tax laws and financial regulations
- Experience working with NGOs/INGOs or in Government Taxation is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
Fluency in Dari/Pashto and English
