Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate accounting operations, and supporting production cost tracking using QuickBooks and/or Odoo ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the company’s accounting system using QuickBooks and/or Odoo ERP, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Record daily financial activities including purchases, sales, expenses, and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
• Perform regular bank, cash, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and update the general ledger and ensure completeness of all accounts.
• Monitor inventory transactions in coordination with production and warehouse teams.
• Track and control production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Support cost analysis and assist management in evaluating production efficiency and profitability.
• Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required financial data and reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and applicable tax regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• ACCA (partially or fully qualified preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and asset control systems.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or Odoo ERP systems.
• Good computer skills, especially MS Office.
