Development Education Learning and Training Association (DELTA) is a national non-governmental organization established in 2005, working in agriculture, livelihoods, food security, WASH, health, nutrition, and community development sectors across Afghanistan.
DELTA, in partnership with FAO, is implementing an agriculture and livelihoods support project in Helmand Province. The District Agriculture / Livestock Officer will be responsible for providing technical support for crop production, livestock, orchard establishment, agroforestry, and related field activities. The position will support planning, implementation, monitoring, training, and coordination with local authorities and FAO.
Provide technical support on agriculture and livestock activities
Support orchard establishment, crop production, and agroforestry
Supervise input distribution and field activities
Coordinate with DAIL and district authorities
Support farmer trainings, FFS, and CIG activities
Prepare regular field and progress reports
