Organization Promoting Transparency, Integrity, and Quality (OPTIQ) is a non-governmental organization committed to promoting transparency, integrity, and quality in its work. OPTIQ primarily operates in the education sector, focusing on improving access to education for marginalized and minority-language communities in remote areas.

Currently, OPTIQ is implementing a project to establish a preschool education system in minority languages, supporting early childhood development in underserved communities. The organization aims to make quality education accessible to all deprived children and contribute to the long-term prosperity of the country through inclusive and equitable education.

Job Descriptions:

As part of its Preschool Education Project in Jawzjan Province, OPTIQ is seeking to recruit 13 qualified teachers to support the establishment and implementation of community-based preschool classes. The selected teachers will play a key role in providing early childhood education to young learners, using culturally appropriate and child-friendly teaching approaches.

Teachers will be responsible for delivering age-appropriate lessons, supporting children’s cognitive, social, and language development, and creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. The position requires close collaboration with project staff, parents, and community members to ensure effective implementation of the preschool system across targeted locations in Jawzjan Province.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who are committed to early childhood education and to serving local communities through quality preschool programming.

Job Requirements:

  1. Native Turkmen speaker
  2. Experience in teaching in the Turkmen MLE Preschool is preferred
  3. Must reside in the village where the Turkmen MLE Preschool is located
  4. Basic understanding of Dari and/or Turkmen alphabet 
  5. Teach the Preschool Class for 3 hours per day from Saturday through Wednesday, and participate occasionally In Teacher Trainings or other scheduled events of the office.
  6. Willingness to obey the laws and principles of the organization and have a good relationship with other employees in the organization.
  7. Protect the organization's possessions at all times.
  8. Teach the children according to the MLE Preschool method and material
  9. Plan the preschool lessons according to the MLE Preschool method and material
  10. Prepare materials according to the MLE Preschool method and material
  11. Participate in trainings
