The Agency for Assistance and Development of Afghanistan (AADA) is an Afghan non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to the development of Afghanistan. Our core activities include (1) provision of quality health services; (2) community development; (3) training and capacity building at professional and community levels; and (4) research in public health and social sciences.

Managing pharmacy operations, focusing on proper drug storage, inventory, dispensing, and reporting.
Ensuring compliance with standards, training FHH staff, and maintaining stock levels to prevent shortages.
Managing stock, maintaining records, analyzing consumption, and online reporting;
Ensure stock cards are updated from time to time, indicating quantity received, issued out, and balance.
Conduct drug and medical commodity inventory checks monthly within the pharmacy and medical stores.
Ensure drug shelves are well labelled for easy identification of drugs, and stock cards are used for each of the medicines in the pharmacy.
Conduct monthly supervision visits to FHHs to support FHH staff in stock management of medical supplies and medicines.
Ensure expired drugs are separated and kept separate from other stock, and the project manager and the pharmacy officer in the Kabul office are notified promptly to facilitate their disposal.
Ensure appropriate temperatures are monitored daily through temperature loggers in the pharmacy, and appropriate conditions are maintained to support the potency of drugs.
Ensure monthly drug consumption is compiled and submitted in the supply management online platform, and copies are shared with the pharmacy officer in the Kabul office.

Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the relevant position
Good understanding of the Pharmacy services provided in BPHS
Proficient in MS office (esp. excel and world).
Proficient in effective written and verbal communication in English.
Willingness and ability to travel to remote FHHs.
Fluency in written and spoken local languages.
Knowledge of local environment.
