Position Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets through field team management, distributor relations, and pharmacy coverage. This position focuses strictly on sales execution, territory expansion, and revenue generation without marketing or promotional responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities
1. Sales Target Achievement
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Monitor product-wise sales performance
• Develop action plans to increase sales volume
• Follow up with distributors and key pharmacies
• Ensure availability of products in assigned territories

2. Team Supervision
• Manage medical representatives and sales officers
• Assign routes and daily schedules
• Ensure daily visit reports are submitted
• Conduct monthly evaluation and performance reviews
• Support under-performing team members
3. Territory and Coverage Management
• Expand pharmacy coverage
• Increase active customers
• Strengthen distribution network
• Track stock, orders, and deliveries
• Ensure efficient order taking and follow-up
4. Distributor Management
• Coordinate with distributors for stock availability
• Monitor sales from distributors to pharmacies
• Ensure timely collections
• Track credit balances
5. Reporting
• Daily & weekly sales reporting
• Market feedback (prices, availability, competitor sales activities)
• Sales analysis per product and per representative
• Sales forecasting
KPIs
• Sales target achievement
• Number of active pharmacies
• Sales per product
• Increase in orders
• Collection & recovery performance
• Distributor sales growth
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree will be preferred.
5 years’ experience in marketing.
Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
