Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

All selected candidates will be expected to adhere to these standards and principles. To ensure compliance, candidates will undergo rigorous reference and background checks. These checks will include the verification of academic credentials and employment history. Selected candidates may also be required to provide additional information to facilitate these checks.
• Ensure effective implementation of all Reproductive Health (RH) components within the BPHS framework, including maternal, newborn, family planning, and adolescent health services.
• Conduct regular supervision and monitoring visits to health facilities to assess service quality, availability of RH supplies, and compliance with MoPH protocols
• To integrate national reproductive strategy and policy at provincial and district level
• To assist CHA management team in reproductive health related issues at provincial and health facilities level
• Provide technical support and on-the-job training to midwives and health facility staff to improve RH service delivery and documentation
• To make sure all the RH staff are aware of national RH guidelines and treatment protocols
• To update all Reproductive Health staff with the new national documents
• To ensure all RH related equipment’s and tools are available and soundly utilized in the health facilities
• To ensure that the Emergency obstetric care centers are running according to the national standards
• To facilitate recruitment of the reproductive health staff in health facilities with collaboration with other supervisors.
• To identify, solve or refer the problems of RH staff with related departments as required
• To improve the links of referral system in the different level of the health facilities (HP, SC, BHC, CHC, DH and Hospital)
• To train and support CHA health facilities staff in accordance with national guidelines
• To participate actively in RH related workshops and meetings at provincial or national level
• To evaluate the RH staff training needs and look for the opportunities for building their capacity at facility or provincial level
• To conduct midwifes monthly meetings for sharing the information’s, problems and needs and finding possible solutions
• To supervise the reproductive health services in the health facilities based on the BPHS/EPHS standards as a member of CHA supervision team to analyze RH data and provide monthly report of RH activities
• To ensure inventory of all assets and maintain of health facilities.
• To carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by line supervisor
MD/Midwifery degree is required. • At least 5 years of experience in RMNCH management or similar positions with National or international NGOs, received RMNCAH, BEmONC, Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (EmONC), Nutrition training as essential.
• Good understanding of BPHS and EPHS projects.
• Good knowledge of MoPH policies.
• Ability to manage a high workload and meet deadlines, demonstrated flexibility and multi-task ability.
• Good interpersonal skills, motivation for teamwork
