About Afghans Humanitarian Aids & Development Organization (AHADO):

Afghans Humanitarian Aids and Development Organization (AHADO) is a non-government, non-profit humanitarian social welfare organization. AHADO established in October 2013 and registered with Ministry of Economy (MoEc), through license Number 3053. AHADO based in Kandahar and delivered humanitarian and development projects in various regions of the country including southern, central and northern regions. Implemented projects were in various sectors of child protection, community education, gender equity, WASH, health/hygiene, capacity building, livelihood and advocacy. AHADO is committed to the humanitarian principals and is PSEA Signatory, therefore AHADO would strictly  follow all its provisions in its daily operation and apply the considered measurement on the perpetrators.

AHADO commitment on PSEA awareness and  implementation
 

AHADO has a zero-tolerance policy for (sexual) misconduct. AHADO SEA policy sets minimum standards that must be followed by all employees to protect beneficiaries and members of the community from sexual exploitation and abuse. Furthermore AHADO would follow and apply all provisions of the UNICEF, PSEA and Child Safeguarding Policies. Earlier issuing any contract all candidates must complete the SEA Reference check that include the completion of following steps:

Reference Check for new candidates/employees

The candidates should submit two to three references from his/she former employers and complete the reference check forms Annex 1 to introduce his/her current and former employers for reference check to confirm that the candidate did not commit any ESA and Harassment.

B-Candidates with any committed SEA and harassment back-ground should not be hired.

C- To ensure that the candidate is honest and did not commit any SEA and harassment, AHADO would share the Annex 2, (candidates Reference check table) to be completed by  the candidates references, and based on the provided information, honest candidates who did not commit  any SEA and harassment , should be considered for hiring.  The annexes 1 and 2 would be shared with the final candidates.

Job Descriptions:

It’s a fulltime job and the position holder would work six days/week.

M&E Officer will be based in south region provinces of Helmand, Zabul and Nemroz and would work under the supervision of AHADO M&E Unit in-charge. In coordination with the project manager the M&E Officer would work closely with project team to ensure proper implementation of the project planned activities  by carrying out frequent monitoring and data collection missions and supportive supervision visits to the Temporary Learning Spaces (TLSs) that established for enrollment of returnee children to school and education.

 

Key Responsibilities:    

The main responsibilities and duties of the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer include :

  • Manage the overall M&E activities for EiE, TLS project ;
  • Plan and track activities in accordance with the project implementation plan;
  • Provide M&E technical support for program operational strategy;
  • To carryout routine and non-routine data collection in regards to the project indicators.
  • Develop and update the M&E plan inclusive in line with UNICEF EMIS guidelines for tracking progress and evaluating outcomes and impact on the implementation of the project activities
  • Make sure that project all data uploaded to the EMIS according to the Ministry of Education and UNICEF requirements.
  • Conduction of monitoring missions and make sure that all planned activities are implementing according to the project plan.
  • Preparation and submission of Project M&E on-line and off-line progress reports.
  • Prepare EiE-TLS project M&E weekly, monthly, quarterly progress reports.
  • Participate in trainings and orientation sessions organized by AHADO and UNICEF.
  • Technically assist in design of a data collection and management system to generate data, analysis and feedback to ensure high quality of the project implementation.
  • Make sure that a functioning Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) established in all districts, the communities’ members, parents, teachers and students voice their concerns, suggestion and statsfaction levels through a transparent feedback mechanism.
  •  Facilitate the monitoring missions of the UNICEF, MoE and other stakeholders to see and visit the project implementation progress.
  •  Prepare any M&E had-hock report asked by the UNICEF or AHADO management.
  • Any other M&E related tasks as may be assigned by the AHADO Management and project manager from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Management Science, Social Sciences, and or Quantitative Economics.
  • Postgraduate Qualification in Project Planning and Management or Monitoring & Evaluation is a plus.
  • At least 3 year experiences in data collection, analysis, managing, and data reporting.
  • Able to travel to districts of Helmadn, Zabul and Nimroz Province.
