About Afghanistan Social and Legal Organization (ASLO)
ASLO is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and non-partisan organization and has the status of legal entity. The organization was informally established in 2012 and was officially registered with the ministry of economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2013.
ASLO is currently working in the Following sectors in Afghanistan:

Job Description
- Design, implement, and oversee health and nutrition strategies, work plans, and activities.
- Ensure programs are aligned with national health policies, Sphere standards, and donor guidelines.
- Lead assessments, surveys, and research to identify gaps and design evidence-based interventions.
- Provide technical guidance on maternal and child health, primary healthcare, nutrition, and disease prevention.
- Support the integration of nutrition-sensitive approaches into food security, WASH, and livelihood programs.
- Build the capacity of health and nutrition staff, community health workers, and local partners.
- Monitor project performance, prepare narrative and financial reports, and ensure accountability to beneficiaries and donors.
- Coordinate with Ministry of Public Health, UN agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee quality assurance, monitoring systems, and ensure timely availability of medicines, supplies, and equipment.
- Promote gender-sensitive, inclusive, and culturally appropriate health and nutrition services.
- Represent the organization in health and nutrition cluster meetings and donor forums.
