RMNCAH Program Lead will be a focal point person at the national level and will be responsible for the implementation FHH project and will be overall responsible for supporting the project manager and program director in the implementation, planning, concept note, leadership, and management of the project at the provincial level:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

In consultation with the line manager, manage the entire program cycle, including planning, implementation, staff supervision, quality control, reporting, and administrative issues at the Family Health Houses (FHH)

• She is responsible for the management of the entire program cycle, including planning, implementation, staff supervision, quality control, reporting, and administrative issues at the provincial level.
• She follows the provision of RMNCH and GBV services.
• She responsible to control and support safe spaces and protection services for women and girls.
• Provide Training to project managers of leadership, protection, and inclusion.
• Provide awareness and advocacy for women, girls and disabled.
• Provide psychosocial support to survivors of violence and conflict.
• Support immunization campaigns in remote areas and establishing of the HPC for referral cases.
• Strengthening local capacity through tailored training and WASH program
• provide comprehensive, community-based health services with a special focus on women, girls, and children, addressing their critical needs in reproductive, maternal, and child health (RMNCH), mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), and gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response.
• Primary health services for mothers and children (ANC/PNC, immunization, family planning)
• Mental health care through trained counselors and psychosocial support staff
• Support the project manager in the stage of Preparation and Mobilization
• Developing project documents, action plan, reports, and any other papers
• Preparing monthly and quarterly technical narrative reports of the project and submitting it to the donor.
• Organizing and supervising support staff.
• Creating coordination among the staff.
• Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of all projects in the program portfolio.
• Ensure that program activities are aligned with organizational strategies and donor requirements.
• Develop annual and quarterly work plans and budgets in coordination with program staff.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of results.
• Supervise, mentor, and support program officers, coordinators, and field staff.
• Conduct regular performance appraisals and identify training needs
• Foster a collaborative and accountable work environment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with donors, government agencies, and other NGOs.
•  Represent the organization in coordination meetings, forums, and networks.
• Support advocacy and policy engagement initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of organizational strategies and program plans.
• Support proposal development and resource mobilization efforts.
• Promote sustainability and innovation in program design and implementation.
• Any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Minimum Specialized Qualification:

1. At least a bachelor’s degree in Health, Public Health, Family Planning, Maternal Health, or equivalent. A Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Prior experience working with Health, GBV, Primary Health Care, MHPSS, Family Planning, Maternal Health, Protection, and FHH projects, as well as sufficient experience in project implementation, grants, and contracts.
3. Fluency in Pashto and Dari with strong communication skills; fluency in English is required.
4. At least 7-10  years of work experience within INGOs or other relevant local NGOs on the implementation of health projects, especially FHH projects.
5. Ability to manage and plan work effectively and meet deadlines.
6. Ability to establish working relationships with government and non-government organizations, and effective outreach and networking at the provincial level.
7. Ability to build strong lines of communication with stakeholders and within the province.
8. Proven leadership and staff management skills.
9. Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
10. Experience in supporting managers in the development of FHH projects.
11. Strong experience in donor and internal reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual technical reports).
12. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and preferably data management/reporting tools.
13. Demonstrated knowledge of safeguarding, gender mainstreaming, and protection principles.
14. Willingness and ability to travel to provinces/field sites when required.
15. Ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure, problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptability to challenging environments.
