Agency for Assistance and Development of Afghanistan (AADA) is an Afghan non-profit non-governmental organization working for the development of Afghanistan mainly through (1) provision of quality health services; (2) community development; (3) training and capacity building at professional and community levels; and (4) research in topics of public health and social sciences besides various projects in different parts of Afghanistan.
Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, be responsible for overseeing the activities of Social Mobilizers in Herat province to ensure the delivery of quality services.
Identify knowledge and skill gaps among project staff and implement capacity-building activities based on needs.
Conduct regular meetings with beneficiaries, community elders, and health councils to ensure program effectiveness and raise community awareness of project services.
Ensure proper management and distribution of informational and educational materials (IEC) to beneficiaries.
Identify and promptly report any programmatic or administrative issues that may hinder the achievement of program objectives.
Meet regularly with health shuras, community leaders and other stakeholders, to ensure project effectiveness and community involvement in decisions regarding the CBNP;
Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager.
Identify and report immediately any program or administrative problems that may interfere with achieving program objectives;
Bachelor of Social Science,
At least one year of experience in management and supervision of SBC interventions
Familiarity with local languages and basic knowledge of English.
Ability and willingness to travel to remote areas.
Proficiency in using computer programs such as Excel and Microsoft Word.
Familiarity with local environments.
