No. 45) & signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Public Health on 21.11.2005 (MoU No. 05). Since January 2011, STEP Health and Development Organization Merged with MOVE Welfare Organization and working as on entity under the name of MOVE Welfare Organization.

Job Descriptions:

  • Key member of the P4P (Pay for Performance) program or hospital performance-based payment program management.
  • Management of the P4P program including planning, implementation, follow-up, analysis, evaluation, and taking corrective actions for health services according to the guidelines and indicators related to the surgical department.
  • Supervision and ensuring the provision of health services, accurate recording, data collection, reliability of figures, and accurate reporting of the hospital’s surgical departments.
  • Participation in the analysis of P4P performance, collection of its revenues, and payment of salaries to hospital staff based on it.
  • Preparation and alignment of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) of surgical departments in a timely manner and taking appropriate and timely corrective actions.
  • Strict compliance with and implementation of the laws and regulations of the respective hospital department; division of duties among department staff, supervision, and control of their activities.
  • Ensuring the provision of health services according to national standards in various sections and providing IEC in all areas.
  • Diagnosis, treatment, and care of gynecology and obstetrics patients and organizing 24-hour patient care.
  • Accurate follow-up of patient registration, treatment follow-up, data collection, and consolidation of monthly HMIS reports for the respective department.
  • Monitoring preoperative procedures and maintaining asepsis and antisepsis protocols.
  • Establishing an effective referral system for gynecology and obstetrics cases requiring referral to regional or specialized hospitals.
  • Creating trust and encouraging referral centers to refer general surgery and cesarean cases on time.
  • Providing concise professional feedback in response to the referral form from health centers covered by the hospital network.
  • Timely resolution of issues in the medical affairs of the respective department.
  • Immediate identification and reporting of any obstacles to achieving program goals.
  • Participation in the design and implementation of on-the-job training for gynecology and obstetrics staff.
  • Regular and daily supervision of the gynecology and obstetrics staff.
  • Monitoring proper documentation in medical records and patient files in the gynecology and obstetrics department.
  • Active participation in coordinating activities and improving the quality of health services at the hospital level.
  • Participation in morning reports and planning meetings with department staff to improve skills.
  • Creating an atmosphere of friendliness, trust, mutual respect, and discipline among staff; respectful and kind behavior toward patients, their attendants, and colleagues.
  • Participation and contribution to educational programs in collaboration with the provincial capacity-building department.
  • Compliance with orders from supervisors and performing any other officially assigned duties.

Job Requirements:

Education: MD degree from Faculty of Medicine with specialization/residency in Gynecology & Obstetrics.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience in gynecology, obstetrics, and hospital management; experience with P4P program is an asset.

Skills: Strong leadership, surgical and patient care skills, knowledge of national health standards, data reporting (HMIS), and training facilitation.

Other: Ability to work in the assigned duty station and handle emergency and on-call duties.
