1. Background
The BRIDGE project aims to enhance the safety, well-being, and development of vulnerable groups through improved access to protection services, psychosocial support, and community engagement. As part of its integrated approach, the project provides critical psychosocial support services to children, adolescents, women, and survivors of violence, addressing their emotional and Psychosocial-wellbeing needs to foster resilience and recovery.
The PSS Counsellor is a key role in the implementation of psychosocial interventions, providing professional support to individuals and groups, while ensuring services are culturally appropriate, gender-sensitive, and aligned with international best practices.
2. Scope of Work
The PSS Counsellor will deliver psychosocial support services, conduct awareness sessions, and provide training on Psychosocial-wellbeing. The role focuses on helping beneficiaries manage stress, overcome trauma, and enhance coping mechanisms.
