• Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products
• Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards
• Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time
• Define customer needs and requirements
• Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes
• Perform detailed calculations to develop manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications
• Monitor and test all electrical systems for performance and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Research, design and evaluate electrical products and systems
• Maintain a thorough understanding of new trends and developments in the field of electrical engineering

. Technical Skills Required

• Proficient in conduit bending, cable pulling, and termination.
• Knowledge of control panels, MCCs, DBs, transformers, and generators.
• Ability to work with low, medium, and possibly high-voltage systems (based on project scope).
• Understanding of power distribution, grounding systems, and load calculations.

4. Tools and Equipment

• Must provide standard electrician’s hand tools (pliers, cutters, screwdrivers, etc.).
• Employer or contractor shall supply specialized equipment (megger, earth tester, etc.).
• Must wear appropriate PPE: insulated gloves, boots, helmet, safety glasses, and arc flash protection where required.

6.Testing and Commissioning

• Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, and voltage verification.
• Perform functional testing of lighting, power circuits, and control systems.
• Prepare test reports and submit for review.

7. Health & Safety Requirements

• Adhere to all site safety protocols.
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures must be followed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.

8. Documentation

• Submit daily work reports, material usage, and progress.
• Provide as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Keep logs of all tests and inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s  or diploma degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3 to 4 years of experience in a relevant role
• Detail-oriented with a dedication to accuracy and efficiency
• Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes
• Able to problem solve and troubleshoot as the need arises
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Dari and Pashto
