Job Descriptions:

Finance Manager will lead to ensuring timely, high quality, and reliable financial information and analysis are readily available to inform program decision making. Within this remit, specific requirements will include: budget management and tracking spending; generating up to date and timely financial monitoring reports and flagging analysis to identify and project potential under/overspending; ensure timely preparation of financial reports and documents for Management; participate in strategic planning and decision making under the guidance of the Management.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • .Oversee the development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, procedures, forms, and manuals.
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Advise on investment activities and provide financial strategies that the company should take.
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget and maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Coordinate and mediate between the organization, employees, vendors, customers, and other stakeholder on financial issues.
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company including invoices, vouchers, payments, and receipts and ensure their compliance to the company financial policies, procedures and goals.
  • Make priorities for payments and coordinate for collecting receivables.
  • Supervise cash management, monitor bank account sand bank reconciliation, and ensure the liquidity of the company.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the plans and goal.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance of company activities with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain the company's financial accounting including sales, expenses, payroll, payables, receivables and other accounts.
  • Prepare monthly, yearly and other required management reporting, including the financial statements.
  • Supervise and maintain of proper documentation of financial activities.
  • Manage the taxation, payment of tax to government, maintain proper documentation of tax Documents and coordinate with tax agencies for tax clearances.
  • Manage company assets, calculate asset depreciation and maintaining proper data for the Assets of the company.
  • Conduct internal audits, liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English. 
  • Excellence in the use of excel, QuickBooks and financial management software.
  • Supervisory and management experience.
