General Conditions of Employment

PU-AMI is a humanitarian organization committed to safeguarding and protecting individuals affected by our activities and to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all staff and beneficiaries. Work Relationship

Responsibilities and particular assignmentsمسؤلیت ها و وظایف مشخص

General responsibilitiesمسؤلیت های عمومی :

·        Responsible for collecting reliable and validated personal, demographic, health, nutrition, MHPSS, and WaSH related data from beneficiaries/project participants using standardized tools.

·        Ensures proper data collection from eligible beneficiaries, preventing duplication and confirming adherence to selection criteria.

·        Enters data accurately into digital system or mobile application, ensuring timely synchronization and real-time reporting when required.

·        Maintains high standards of data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and validity, and identifies and reports errors or discrepancies promptly.

·        Strictly follows established data collection guidelines and organizational procedures, including ethical standards and informed consent requirements.

·        Ensures confidentiality and secure handling of all personal and sensitive beneficiary information in line with data protection policies.

• Collect digital data through the KOBO and measure to minimize error
• Ensure timely submission of data.
• Visit identified communities and conduct interviews in accordance to the methodology and tools.
• Ask questions in a clear and kind manner and ask all the questions exactly as worded and create a friendly environment with community members.
• Ensure responses are documented or recorded accurately in the system.
• Conduct Surveys, IDIs, FGDs, and KIIs in the field with project stakeholders and Beneficiaries.
• Probe to clarify unclear answers.
• Double-check and revise the survey at the end of the survey to correct mistakes.

·        Have good behaviour and approach with the community during the assessment.

·        Field data collectors will follow sampling instructions provided by the MEAL team.

·        Close supervision of the work of the data collectors by MEAL team.

Qualification/ Requirements تحصیلات و شرایط لازمه

Education Background:

·        14 grade graduates in health-related disciplines, social sciences (Entry level), or a related field.

Work Experience:

·       Have 1 year of experience in data collection, field surveys, humanitarian program, or health-related activities is required

Knowledge and skills:

·       Ability to use mobile data collection tools or digital applications. 

·       Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills

·       Ability to work under pressure in challenging field conditions

·       Respect for confidentiality and humanitarian principles

·       Teamwork and adaptability in dynamic environments

Languages:

·       Fluency in written and spoken Pashto, Dari, and English (Optional but preferred)

·       Computer skills: Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in data entry and the use of Microsoft Excel or equivalent data management tools.
