Ghazanfar Bank, a full-fledged licensed commercial Bank, commenced its operations in March 2009. The Share Holders of the Bank belongs to one of the leading business groups of Afghanistan. As a leading business house Ghazanfar Group is involved in various key businesses sectors as a front runner such as import and distribution of Petroleum/Gas and other various important industrial sectors. Ghazanfar Bank started its operation in Kabul, Afghanistan, and is offering key financial services both under conventional and Islamic Banking. The Bank has since opened up its Branches at various key locations such as Mazar Sharif, Hairatan, Nayeb Abad, Kunduz, Takhar, Pule- Khumri, Jalalabad, Herat & Kandahar besides opening another eight branches at Kabul in Sarai Shahzada, Shar-e-Naw, Karte Naw, Kote Sangi, Lase Maryam, Karte Char, Kabul Airport and Wazir Akbar Khan. In due course of time, the Bank intends to expand its Branch Network in Kabul as well as at other key locations of the Country.

1. Develop and implement media duties in coordination with the relevant department.
2. Manage social media pages, schedule posts and stories, and respond to messages and comments.
3. Conduct media coverage (photo & videography) of the Bank’s events, campaigns, product launches, community initiatives, and official activities.
4. Design posters, newsletters and Bank’s website content visuals, also produce simple and motion graphics videos with professional-quality editing skill.
5. Ensure that all media and public communications comply with the Bank’s brand guidelines, policies, regulatory requirements, and approval procedures.
6. Prepare monthly reports on social media activities, performance, and engagement.
7. Maintain an updated database of media contacts and communication materials.
8. Assist in managing reputational risks and responding to media inquiries in coordination with authorized Bank representatives.
9. Support internal communications and designs, including staff announcements, newsletters, and corporate updates.
10. Perform other communication-related duties assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, graphic valid studies or a related field.
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience in media, journalism, photo and videography, visual graphic and motion video edit, marketing, or a similar role.
• Previous experience in the banking, financial, corporate, or development sector will be an advantage.
• Strong skills in still and motion graphic visuals, photography and videography, video editing, reporting, and interpersonal communication.
• Good understanding of media relations, with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Ability to effectively use social media platforms, modern digital cameras, and other digital content-production tools.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent command of English and Dari/Pashto Knowledge of additional local languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple assignments.
