Channel Expansion Officer (Sales)

Position Summary :

The Channel Expansion Officer is responsible for conducting regular market and agent visits to strengthen LasPay’s agent network, ensure service availability, agent liquidity, brand visibility, and effective implementation of agent schemes. The role also supports agent performance, customer acquisition, compliance, market intelligence, and transaction growth through effective field execution and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily agent and retail visits according to the assigned Beat Plan.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with LasPay agents and merchants.
• Monitor agent liquidity, service availability, transaction activity, and operational performance.
• Ensure LasPay brand visibility and proper implementation of agent/merchant schemes.
• Identify potential agents and recommend suitable locations for network expansion.
• Educate agents on LasPay products, services, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Support customer registration and transaction growth through assigned agents.
• Collect and report competitor activities, market trends, and agent feedback.
• Address agent issues and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
• Monitor agent compliance with LasPay and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular field visits to assigned districts and markets based on the Beat Plan.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly field and agent performance reports.
• Take initiative and maintain a results-oriented approach to achieve assigned targets

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Management, or a related degree.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 3- 5 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, EMI (Electronic Money Institution), telecommunications, or retail operations.
• Proven experience in handling cash transactions, account opening, customer support, and operational processes.
• Prior experience in branch operations, agent management, or digital financial services will be an advantage.

Required Skills:

• Understanding of customer complaint handling, service recovery, and customer relationship management principles.
• Strong understanding of Cash In, Cash Out, Remittance, Bill Payment, and Digital Financial Service operations.
• Knowledge of KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and CFT (Counter Financing of Terrorism) regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in customer account registration, account verification, and account upgrade procedures.
• Ability to accurately process and reconcile financial transactions while maintaining complete documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and report suspicious or unusual transactions in accordance with compliance requirements.
• Ability to prepare operational reports, maintain records, and support reconciliation activities.
