Supervisor (Munji and Shugni Languages)

OPTIQ is a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to promoting education, literacy, and community development in Afghanistan. The organization works to improve access to quality education, particularly in underserved and remote areas, with a focus on early childhood education and mother-tongue-based learning. Through its programs, OPTIQ aims to reduce illiteracy, support children's development, and empower communities through education.

The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of project activities in Munji-speaking communities, ensuring that activities are carried out effectively and in accordance with project objectives. The position requires close coordination with project staff, community members, and stakeholders, as well as regular monitoring, reporting, and support to ensure the quality and success of program activities.

• Native speaker of the Munji language.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience with national or international NGOs in a supervisory, educational, community mobilization, or project implementation role.
• Good understanding of community-based education programs and local contexts.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise field activities and provide guidance to project staff and community stakeholders.
• Experience in monitoring, reporting, and documentation.
• Ability to prepare activity reports and maintain project records.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the project target areas.
• Knowledge of Dari and/or English is an asset.
