Job Description

  1. Specific:
  • Implementation of HIVA work plan accordingly.
  • Work closely with health facilities and project RMNH team to ensure the delivery of high-quality RMNH services.
  • Facilitate relevant awareness and engagement initiatives to promote the importance of RMNH services both in HFs and community level.
  • Facilitated acquisition/ reinforcement of key standardized technical skill and knowledge to trainees’ for RMNH service which has high impact in reducing MMR (Maternal Mortality Ratio) and MoC (Management of Complication)
  • Conducting regular supportive supervision, and identify the gaps in RMNH service, and applying HII for capacity building and Quality Improvement.
  • Coordinate the findings with skill Lab trainer for capacity building of female MDs and Midwives for the Quality Improvement of RMNH services in HFs and community level.
  •  Work with health workers to implement HQIP standards for improvement of RMNH services based on HII.
  • Developing monthly and quarterly work plan for implementation of HIVA activities in HFs
  • Developing monthly and quarterly reports of HIVA implementation in RMNH services
  • Conducting mentorship on HIVA and RMNH thematic area to health workers at the HFs, and recording all mentorship for mentees in mentee lock book.
  • Conducting HIVA trainings to health workers as well as follow-up support and clinical mentoring as necessary for RMNH
  • Support the implementation of newborn, child health, and nutrition interventions in HFs
  • Conduct and facilitate HIVA and other health related training at the provincial level for HFs health workers.

Supply of medicine equipment to the targeted HFs on due.

  • Support baseline assessment of HQIP in HFs at least 5 HFs in first round
  • Perform any other task assigned by line manager.

Job Requirements

  • MD degree from a recognized university
  • At least three years’ experience in capacity building or relevant background
  • Experiences working in BPHS/EPHS project, HIVA components and HQIP
  • Good report writing skill
  • Familiar with computer program
