ASLO is registered with Ministry of Economy of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The organization was informally established in 2012 and was officially registered with the ministry of economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2013. Registration number (2852) was awarded to ASLO through NGOs Department of Ministry of Economy Kabul Afghanistan.
OUR MISSION:
A peaceful and developed Afghanistan where every Afghan is educated, healthy, living above poverty line, have easy access to justice and everyone especially women and children enjoy their full rights and prosperous life.
OUR VISION:
Through our interventions, we are empowering individuals, families, women, communities and institutions through Humanitarian assistance, rights advocacy, research, and capacity building, and education, access to justice, promoting peace and income generation facilitation.

ASLO is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and non-partisan organization and has the status of legal entity. The organization was informally established in 2012 and was officially registered with the ministry of economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2013.

Job Description
The Education Officer (ECCD) supports the planning, implementation, and monitoring of education programs. They ensure quality delivery of educational activities, coordinate with schools, teachers, and communities, and contribute to program development based on field needs and assessments.
Major Responsibilities:
· Implement and oversee education programs and activities in assigned field locations according to project plans.
· Monitor teaching quality, student attendance, learning outcomes, and classroom management.
· Support, mentor, and provide guidance to teachers and education staff on teaching methods and curriculum delivery.
· Conduct regular school visits, classroom observations, and follow-ups to ensure compliance with program standards.
· Collect, verify, and maintain accurate data on education activities, student progress, and school performance.
· Assist in conducting surveys, assessments, and evaluations to identify gaps and improve education services.
· Facilitate community mobilization and engagement to promote enrollment, retention, and awareness about education.
· Prepare and submit timely reports on field activities, challenges, and achievements to supervisors.
· Coordinate with local authorities, school management committees, and stakeholders for smooth program implementation.
· Support the development and distribution of teaching and learning materials.
· Identify field-level challenges and propose practical solutions to improve education program delivery.
· Ensure adherence to organizational policies, donor requirements, and safeguarding standards.
· Assist in organizing teacher trainings, workshops, and capacity-building sessions in the field.
· Promote inclusive education practices, ensuring access for marginalized or vulnerable children.
· Participate in periodic monitoring, evaluations, and learning activities to strengthen program effectiveness.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Science, psychology or related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Education programs implementation, teacher trainings or related fields, preferably in NGOs or field offices.
- Strong knowledge of Education and Program management.
- Experience working with donor-funded projects is an advantage.
- Good computer skills (MS Excel, Word, accounting software if applicable).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
