Job Description

The Field Coordination Officer will oversee and coordinate the implementation of Skills Development and Literacy activities at the provincial level. The incumbent will supervise community mobilizers, facilitators, and Village Skills Committees (VSCs) to ensure effective delivery of literacy, skills, and parenting components in line with UN standards and donor approved work plans. The position will support the establishment of community-based learning spaces, monitor class implementation, coordinate with local authorities and community stakeholders, and ensure timely and accurate reporting. The Field Coordination Officer will report to the Project Officer and ensure compliance with quality, safeguarding, and accountability requirements throughout project implementation.

Job Requirements

1. Education

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in:

    • Business

    • Social Sciences

    • Civil Engineering

    • Or a related field

2. Professional Experience

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in project management or similar fields

  • At least two (2) years of experience supporting education projects

3. Language Skills

  • Proficiency in English

  • Proficiency in Dari and/or Pashto

  • Written and spoken fluency required
