MSI Reproductive Choices Afghanistan (MSIA) is a branch of MSI, a global, non-profit, and non-governmental organization headquartered in London, UK, and was established in August 2002 after registration with the Government of Afghanistan. MSIA follows the local mission statement of MSI: Improve Afghan women’s health and well-being so that they can, in turn, build strong, healthy families. Our vision is to be the organization that Afghan women seek out for high-quality, client-centered health care provided by women, for women.


We focus on reducing maternal mortality by providing quality and sustainable maternal-child health (MCH) and reproductive health (RH) services and information in 18 provinces of Afghanistan, namely Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Jawzjan Faryab, Nangarhar, Helmand, Kandahar, Baghlan, Kunduz, Badakhshan, Takhar, Samangan, Kapisa, Farah, Ghor, Bamiyan and Paktia in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) of Afghanistan. 

MSIA strives to enhance women's health outcomes in the aforementioned provinces by delivering vital reproductive and maternal-child health services through multiple channels such as centers, outreaches, the private sector, and MS Ladies (Family Health Houses).

Job Descriptions:

Key Responsibilities:

• Properly understanding of MSIA mission and vision.

• Maintaining disciplined and friendly behavior with clinic clients.

• Getting full knowledge of CLIC software for proper data entry

• Maintaining of IT and other organization equipment

• Support with Client filing systems to be maintained in accordance with CLIC requirements

• Always keeping client files and information confidential

• Assist with CLIC Operator for accurate interpretation, compilation, and entering of data in the CLIC system

• Storing correct information in the desired database locations (completing all client required information in CLIC Reporting System)

• Completion of the required task within the desired deadlines when assigned by CLIC operator or Clinic in Charge

• Support the CLIC Operator to manage additional responsibilities including troubleshooting, file backups, regular updating, and retrieval of data as and when required

• Support the CLIC Operator for sending daily CLIC reports /data extracts to CLIC team on daily/weekly basis

• Protects organization’s value by keeping confidential information

• Assistance in keeping your work areas in the center tidy, neat and clean.

• Assist with CLIC operator for keeping data back-ups on weekly basis

• Support the team in reporting monthly staff fingerprint attendances (Hard & Soft)

• Keeping Client confidentiality and you are not allowed to share any information about clients outside organization, and unauthorized people in organization

• Maintaining good teamwork with all related staff

• You are required to demonstrate excellent behavior with clients

• To strengthen referral system and refer patient to medical staff / other clinic facilities when required

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Business Administration or relevant filed

• Fluency of local language and English language

• Good communication skills and ability to interact successfully with staff and clients.

• knowledge of using Smart phones and internet application over Android and computer

• Having good typing skills of English Keyboard

• Fluent in verbal and written English and Dari/Pashto

 

Experience:

• Previous experience or internship in maternal and child health services preferred.

Skills:

• Keen intellect with strong analytical skills

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing and to make effective public presentations.

• Ability to work well with others in team environments

• Must be able to satisfy stakeholders
