Watan Wheels is a modern Afghan automotive marketplace app designed to digitize and simplify how people buy, sell, rent, and market vehicles and spare parts across Afghanistan.
Through the Watan Wheels mobile application and platform, users can:
Buy and sell new and used cars
Rent vehicles or list their cars for rent
Buy and sell auto spare parts
Promote vehicles and dealerships digitally
Watan Wheels aims to bring transparency, efficiency, and growth to Afghanistan’s automotive industry by empowering car dealers, rental companies, and spare-parts sellers with digital tools and nationwide exposure.
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for expanding Watan Wheels’ presence in the automotive market by onboarding car dealers, rental companies, and spare-parts sellers. This role is field-based and focuses on building strong relationships, increasing platform usage, and driving revenue growth.
The executive will regularly visit car markets and dealerships to ensure vehicles, rentals, and spare parts are accurately listed and actively promoted on the Watan Wheels mobile application. They will train clients on how to use the app, guide them on improving listing quality, and promote paid services such as featured listings and advertisements.
This position requires close coordination with the head office and marketing team, collecting market feedback, monitoring competitors, and representing Watan Wheels as a professional brand ambassador in automotive markets and events. The role is target-driven and plays a key part in growing Watan Wheels’ dealer network across Afghanistan.
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for expanding Watan Wheels’ dealer network, increasing revenue, and representing the company in car markets and dealerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit assigned car markets, showrooms, and dealerships on a daily basis
Onboard new car dealers, rental companies, and spare-parts sellers onto the Watan Wheels platform
Ensure vehicles, rentals, and spare parts are properly listed and regularly updated in the app
Train dealers and sales staff on using the Watan Wheels mobile app and dashboard
Assist clients in improving listing quality (photos, pricing, and descriptions)
Promote paid products, featured listings, and advertising services
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction
Follow up on renewals, upselling, and account growth
Collect market feedback, competitor information, and customer needs
Act as a Watan Wheels brand ambassador in markets, events, and automotive gatherings
Coordinate with head office and marketing teams to achieve business targets
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or field marketing
Strong communication, sales, and negotiation skills
Field-oriented, energetic, and highly target-driven
Solid ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-focused
Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email, and Internet)
Comfortable using smartphones, mobile applications, and digital platforms
Strong understanding of the Afghan automotive market is a major advantage
Willingness to work in the field and travel across provinces as required
Must be an Afghan national
Fluent in Dari, Pashto (English is a plus)
Able to professionally represent the company in markets, meetings, and public environments
