Ghazanfar Bank, a full-fledged licensed commercial Bank, commenced its operations in March 2009. The Share Holders of the Bank belongs to one of the leading business groups of Afghanistan. Ghazanfar Bank started its operation in Kabul, Afghanistan, and is offering key financial services both under conventional and Islamic Banking. The Bank has since opened up its Branches at various key locations such as Mazar Sharif, Hairatan, Kunduz, Takhar, Pule- Khumri, Jalalabad, Herat & Kandahar besides opening another eight branches at Kabul in Sarai Shahzada, Shar-e-Naw, Karte Naw, Kote Sangi, Lase Maryam, Karte Char , Kabul Airport and Wazir Akbar Khan. In due course of time, the Bank intends to expand its Branch Network in Kabul as well as at other key locations of the Country.

1. Seek opportunities for the branch business development within the related area.
2. Responsible for heading up the expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients.
3. Building relationship with existing clients in an attempt to increase their current spend.
4. Driving peak performance and sales success across the branch area.
5. Ensuring all administration for sales is completed effectively.
6. Achieving approved business targets related to branch for the financial year.
7. Reporting from progress of sales in an ongoing process.
8. Visiting new customers on daily basis.
9. Attending to the events, conferences with the prior approval of line manager.
10. Builds a strong networking with the businessmen in the area.
11. Maintaining and retaining the existing customers of the branch.
12. Identifying sales opportunities in the market.
13. Acting as a key contact for large customer accounts.
14. Providing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly report to the line manager.
15. Making the brand image of GB in the related branch area.
16. Monitoring customer’s transaction closely for purpose of customer retention.
17. Seeking customers need and satisfactions from GB services.
18. Marketing branch within the community to attract business.
19. Manages and oversees all banking policies, procedures and processes.
20. Maintaining and taking care of branch assets.
21. Monitoring the behavior, attitude and knowledge level of employees
22. Efforts to build the capacity of employees
23. Responding to all official letters related to branches that are received from any official authority (NGOs and NPOs) in coordination of operation Department.
24. Increasing the number of bank accounts.
25. Inspection and general control of Branch, employees and guest house.
26. Any other responsibility which will be assigned by line manager.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in business administration or finance is preferred.
• Certifications in banking, financial management, or leadership (e.g., Certified Branch Manager) are an advantage.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience in retail banking, customer relationship management, and team leadership.
• Familiarity with banking regulations, risk management, and financial performance analysis.

• Strong understanding of banking products, financial management, and revenue generation strategies.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships by delivering superior service.
• Skilled in managing branch operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high service standards.
