Maihan Humanitarian Convergence Organization (MHCO) is a national non-government, non-political, and non-profit organization registered with the Ministry of Economy, committed to delivering humanitarian services across Afghanistan. MHCO focuses on various sectors including Health, Education, Gender Justice, Protection, Nutrition, Livelihood and Food Security, and Organizational Development.
The HMIS Manager is responsible for leading and supervising the effective implementation of the Health Management Information System (HMIS) across all MHCO project sites, ensuring full compliance with MoPH HMIS policies, guidelines, and reporting standards. The role oversees data quality assessments, verification, and DHIS2 reporting, provides technical support and capacity building to HMIS officers and facility staff, and ensures the availability and proper use of HMIS tools at all service delivery points. The Manager conducts regular analysis of HMIS reports, supports proposal development with accurate statistical data, represents MHCO in national HMIS meetings and trainings, and ensures proper registration of health facilities in HMIS and HeRAMS systems. The position also upholds MHCO’s safeguarding, child protection, and PSEA standards by ensuring secure, confidential, and ethical management of all health information.
