Maihan Humanitarian Convergence Organization (MHCO) is a national non-government, non-political, and non-profit organization registered with the Ministry of Economy, committed to delivering humanitarian services across Afghanistan. MHCO focuses on various sectors including Health, Education, Gender Justice, Protection, Nutrition, Livelihood and Food Security, and Organizational Development
The role involves supervising the implementation of EPI activities, including routine immunization and outreach services. It requires regular supervision of fixed centers and outreach sites to ensure high-quality vaccination activities, proper use of EPI equipment, and maintenance of cold chain systems. The position ensures vaccines are transported and managed efficiently through coordination with district and provincial cold stores. It includes monitoring compliance with immunization standards, conducting site visits to assess program performance, and identifying training needs for EPI staff. The role provides training, mentorship, and facilitates workshops to strengthen staff capacity. Responsibilities also include collecting and analyzing monthly reports, following up on referral pathways, preparing monthly plans and reports, participating in coordination meetings, and completing additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
