Maihan Humanitarian Convergence Organization (MHCO) is a national non-government, non-political, and non-profit organization registered with the Ministry of Economy, committed to delivering humanitarian services across Afghanistan. MHCO focuses on various sectors including Health, Education, Protection, Nutrition, Livelihoods, Food Security, and Organizational Development.
The EPI Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and strengthening immunization services across assigned health facilities and outreach sites in Nangarhar Province. The role includes supervising routine vaccination activities, ensuring proper use and maintenance of cold chain equipment, monitoring vaccine logistics, and ensuring compliance with national EPI guidelines. The supervisor conducts regular site visits, assesses training needs, provides on-the-job coaching to EPI staff and CHWs, and analyzes immunization data to identify gaps and improve program quality. The position also follows up on referral pathways, prepares monthly plans and reports, participates in coordination meetings, and supports overall service quality and performance. This role requires strong technical knowledge of immunization programs, relevant field experience, and adherence to MHCO’s safeguarding and professional standards.
