Job Descriptions:

Job Summary:

The M&E Officer has the responsibility to collect, clean, analyze, store and share the data with the project staff and project management team. She/ he will conduct the M&E visits using the standard checklist and quality benchmarks and tools, share the reports and findings with the project officer to bring timely corrections, and bring the project back on the right track.

Specific Accountabilities:

  1. Ensure that all activities are implemented according to the activity plan and in line with the project objectives.
  2. Participate and support the development of the M&E tools for the project on different levels.
  3. Undertake regular monitoring of project activities to ensure that the quality and quantity of the program activities are being carried out according to the Project.
  4. Prepare and implement monthly monitoring and evaluation plans for the program.
  5. Advise, and if necessary, train the field staff on the monitoring and evaluation procedures.
  6. Complete and submit regular reports on the monitoring and evaluation findings in the field to the Project Coordinator, which include reporting of field visits.
  7. Ensure that the monitoring tools are based on the project indicators and measuring the project objectives.
  8. Monitoring and evaluation of the project activities and ensuring that monitoring and evaluation systems and quality controls are in place. (Provide proper feedback to the team based on the findings).
  9. Ensure timely and appropriate reporting on project activities to Project Coordinator

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Project Management, (Master's Degree will be preferred)
  • Three years of professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, project management, and relevant experience are required.
  • Great Knowledge of the medical field and public health programs
  • Good Coordination and Communication Skills
  • Proficient in MS office (esp. excel and world);

           Knowledge of local environment
