The Railway Signaling & Communication Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of railway signaling and communication systems to ensure safe and efficient train operations. The role includes the development of circuit and layout designs, overseeing installation processes, and ensuring ongoing system performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Railway Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in railway signaling and communication systems.
- Strong knowledge of interlocking systems, level crossings, and track circuit design.
- Hands-on experience with installation, testing, and maintenance of signaling and communication equipment.
- Familiarity with international railway safety and signaling standards (e.g., UIC, AREMA).
- Proficiency in technical drawing software and signaling simulation tools.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work in field conditions and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
